Aloha kakahiaka! Welcome to Iglesia Filipina Independiente for the last
Sunday after Epiphany. We extend a special welcome to all our brothers and
sisters who are with us today.
Speak out with a voice of joy and let it be heard to the
ends of the earth!
Today, February 10, we commemorate the feast day of St. William the
Hermit the patron Saint of the City of Laoag. St. William the Hermit was born
in France, and led a life of sin as a young man but he was converted to Christ.
He lived a life of prayer, silence, fasting and penance until his death.
To celebrate the mass is our Diocesan Bishop The Rt. Rev. Emiliano
Domingo with his concelebrants, The RT. Rev. Robert Fitzpatrick Bishop of the
Diocese of Hawaii, The Rt. Rev. Vermilion Tagalog Bishop of the Diocese of
LUISA, The Very Rev. Randolf Albano, Vicar of the Diocese of Hawaii and our
Dean Very Rev. Jonathan Salud and canon Rev Mildred Peregrino. May we all rise
to give honor!
FIRST READING
The shine in the face of Moises
is a sign that there is immeasurable change for those people who are open to
receive the grace of God. We are able to change through our faith and our way
of worshipping Him. The first reading will be read by Mr. Edwin Francisco.
SECOND READING:
Pablo gave a sign that we are not like the Istraelites,
who are not willing to worship the Lord and do not accept Yaweh. We were
baptized to smoothen our hearts and to realize the glory of God. Paul showed
all of this through his conversion as a faithful servant through the mercy of
the Holy Spirit. The second reading will be read by Dr. Elsie C. Pilar
INTERCESSION:
The prayers of the faithful will be delivered by Mr. Joseph Duldulao,
LIFI; Mrs. Manuela Ganal WOPIC and Mr. John Mark Carl Flores YIFI
Offering: Amin Apo nga agpartisipar iti panagdatun ket
mapan da koman ijai likod.
